GRADING
Students are graded according to their proficiency, Perseverance,
attitude and record of attendance. Their progress is indicated
by the Belt colour they are permitted to wear. The purpose of
having a grading system within any Martial Arts is to gauge the
Progress of the individual's ability using a grading examination
based on a set syllabus. Each step or level of learning has to
uncounted carefully ensuring that to the best of your ability
you have understood and reached a level of proficiency acceptable
to the grading examiners. It is a point worth remembering that
the colour of a belt does not make the Karateka, but it is the
ability of the person wearing the Belt which gives it its worth
and acceptability.
